This is a series where Life Sciences PI’s are invited to present their own work in a way that is accessible to those working at the Medical Hill, Chalmers and Sahlgrenska. It is organised on a flexible basis with the goal of two meetings, each for two hours, per semester.

Adler Symposium in Yeast Biology
The CMB at
the University of Gothenburg is hosting the bi-annual symposium series called “The Adler Symposium of Yeast Biology”. The Adler Symposium is an informal 1-day workshop consisting of oral contributions followed by a poster session. The series focuses on selected topics in yeast biology but also includes contributions on other models systems. The first meeting in 2010 focused on “Polarity”.

Lundberg Lecture
The Lundberg Lectures are given once per month by invited speakers to the Lundberg Laboratory.

Thursday seminars The purpose of the Thursday seminars is to invite well-known scientist (both Swedish and international), experts from different areas of chemical science to present recent exciting results of their research. The lectures on interdisciplinary areas of chemical science (bioanalytical chemistry, bioorganic chemistry, nanochemistry, environmental chemistry) are prioritized. The seminars are given almost every Thursday.
